Cardiac Arrhythmia Related to Remdesivir in COVID-19

Background: Remdesivir has shown a positive impact on patient’s clinical improvement with COVID-19 and could represent future viral infections. Results: 16 out of 37 patients presented bradycardia, 4 these had QTc > 450 ms. Infusion for 3 days or more infusion higher incidence bradycardia (12 vs patients). Overall, without longer hospitalization (20.5 15.5 days); 7 died, 2 them bradycardia. Conclusion: Our results have clear evidence after remdesivir infusion. Prospective, double-blinded, randomized studies an evident representative sample size various ethnicities races are highly needed earlier than later to establish important findings.
